How to Make a Desk with Hidden Wireless Charging

I partnered with Minwax and Lincoln Electric to build a desk with hidden wireless charging. I used woodworking and metalworking on this project with a walnut top and a tube steel welded base. This modern industrial computer desk has a nice simple desk feel but with tons of character including a copper metal bowtie inlay. #wirelesscharging

  1. A bit curious about the performance of the wireless charger. did you have to find a sweet spot for it every time the phone is placed or it works like a charm?

  2. Haha u did all that to make a wireless charger table. I literally duct taped a wireless charger under the table and it works perfectly fine😂😂😂

  3. Thank you YT algorithm for finally suggesting something good!

    Awesome video dude!
    Mandatory subbing right now lol

  4. This is so dope, how do you make sure you're not gonna go through the top of the desk when you're routing out that hole for the charger from the bottom?

Also it would be sick to add a short USB Male to Female adapter and line the cord up so the female end stops right at the back of the desk, that way you could just 'unplug' the desk without any cords hanging off in case you wanted to use this as a double for a kitchen table or something.

  5. Wow man, great video skills and great wood/metal working! Just came across your channel and sub'd. We have a very similar style of video, probably some similar projects as well (haven't looked through your channel yet) but congrats on how well you have done with your channel bud! Amazing job
