  1. I never saw this until you talked about it on the podcast. I think even though Im a subscriber the algorithm hosed you on this one. Might not be the fans disinterest, it might have been less exposure.

  2. This Q&A was put together great. I'm currently working on a Q&A video with some other makers so I was getting some notes

  3. Hey bob, I have an idea of making a complete small workshop powered only by drill. Is it possible to make a sander, fixed drill machine and a small saw out of quite powerful hand drill ? .. There are videos out there in youtube that requires a metal work. Is it possible to minimise the metal works and build kind of cabinet ( can be different for all) for a small saw, sander and fixed drill machine ?

  4. Bob, if a project is too big to make one video out of it, just make it a series. Look at Alec Steel so far he’s 23 or 24 videos into the best project in his life, and personally I could say I’ve loved every single video of the series and cannot wait for it to be finished.

  5. Id rather see you upload a new video/project once a week and last 10 more years than one a day and not see you anymore in 5 years…

  6. I personally would have no issues if you had to make 3+ videos because the project is taking time to complete. I'd love to see a series of videos on bigger projects just to see what you'd make.

  7. When you talked about the precision aspect of machining i can completely agree it is a tough thing to do and be very precise, I am studying to be a machinist but I have to say at the end of the day you end up having a lot of pride in something you've created that is so precise.
