DIY 2x4 Workbench for Under 0 | Modern Builds | Woodworking

Today on Modern builds, I’m making a woodworking workbench completely out of 2×4’s! Materials (wood) for this project came in at just under 0, and the beauty of this project is that it doesn’t take a shop full of tools. A circular saw, planer, and a table saw (optionally) is all you need! If you plan on building this project yourself, there will be plans on my website, linked below.

  1. What clamps are you using on this glue up? Are they from Harbor Freight? I need to buy some clamps for glue ups but don't won't to spend a ton. I have some F-style from HF but they seem to be for smaller clamping than doing glue ups like your table top.

  2. very well done,………………….., Have anyone here try the ❀ DIY smartdesk kit frame to DIY a sit stand desk?

  3. Only thing I would change about this is running one side of the 2×4 through a jointer first to get a flat side before running it through the planer. If your lumber is cupped at all the planer isn't gonna fix that. Great Build though!
