Wow wow wow, Chris! What a beautiful set of mallets! And again, your craftsmanship astounds me. I would have broke down and used the miter saw and table saw almost immediately. I love that spalted maple handle, gorgeous! But the other elements that you put into each one really set it off from the typical "pretty mallet" build… like the hand-made brass transition and the protruding wedged mortise with the chamfer. But mainly it's just a stellar choice of wood that sets it apart from the rest, you really made some awesome decisions and the design is perfect. I was so excited to see my sticker slapped up on your cabinet! Thanks for the shout out! I just hope I can live up to the hype, haha! Give Utz another bone from Fisher's Shop. π
Well you sir are just ridiculous. In the most awesome way possible.

Absolutely stunning. I would love to try and make something like this myself. Love the proportions. Could you provide the rough dimensions?
Thanks for the inspiration. I wanted a smaller mallet for lighter fine chisel work and made one. I am going to make a second one the same size but dead blow. Love the work you do.
Great job on the mallets. The Midsouth Woodturners Guild, Memphis, TN. We meet the 4th Saturday of every month. Check out our club at http://www.midsouthwoodturners.com.

Great looking mallets! Hard to choose between them. I'm in the Front Range Woodturners Guild; meets 1st Tuesday of every month and the Colorado Woodworkers Guild; meets 3rd Tuesday of every month. Both in Denver.
Shawn James uses the same music for his channel.

Chris, you do some fabulous work. This just proves you donβt a fully equipped work shop to do fine work. Just got to have a desire to do great work.
Thought this was to be great info until the political commercial played first. Waste of oxygen.
Dog thinks, Gimme outa here! Lol!! Seriously, very sharp looking mallets. Thank you for posting. Got sawdust to make……
