Desk Storage with Drawers digital plans here:

In this video, I show you how to build desk storage with drawers for desk organization. This desk storage is for a craft desk I made for my wife for Mother’s Day. I built a cabinet carcass from plywood and installed drawer slides. The desk drawer pulls are seashells & mickey ears made from epoxy resin silicone molds. I also show you how to paint cabinets with chalk paint and my favorite DIY chalk paint recipe.

How to Make an Apothecary Chest of Drawers

This little chest is made of sapele and soft maple. The drawers are joined using a double dado or half blind lock joint. Overall the dimensions are about 14″ wide, 18″ tall, and 6″ deep. The box was made to hold watches and each drawer can hold two watches on soft cushion. I finished the chest with a few coats of danish oil after sanding everything up to 320 grit.

Let me know what you think! Thanks for watching.

How to Build Super Simple Drawers — WOOD magazine

Limiting yourself to building cabinets or furniture without drawers is like driving a car without a steering wheel–in both cases, you won’t get too far. Dovetails are great and interlocking router-cut joints can be super strong, but oftentimes simple is better. In this video, WOOD Magazine’s Jeff Mertz shows you how to build super-simple drawers using only one setup on your tablesaw.
